Irish Water Spaniel

Always a medium to dark shade of liver, their distinctive coats make them stand out in the crowd. Other than their muzzles, a V-shape at the front of their necks and the tail, (apart from the first 3-4 inches), the entire body is covered in dense, tight ringlets. The tallest of all the Spaniels, IWSs are well-balanced dogs and the only breed of spaniel not to have a customarily docked tail, which gives rise to another favourite nickname - “Whiptail”. Irish Wolfhound

The tallest and largest breed of the hound group, these muscular, powerful dogs have a commanding appearance whilst still being gracefully built. Their coats consist of harsh, rough and rather unkempt-looking hair. Their long legs cover the ground in an easy, active manner.

Italian Greyhound

This is a elegant and slender dog, looking like a standard greyhound but in minature. The coat is smooth and glossy and can come in a variety of shades. The head is narrow with a very fine muzzle and ears are softly folded and set high on the head. The spine slopes gently and there is a defined tuck up in the loins. The gait is high stepping and free. This can be a very fast dog when it is so inclined.

Japanese Spitz

Bearing an undeniable resemblance to their larger cousins, the Samoyeds, the Japanese Spitz is a handsome breed. Their profuse, white, stand-off coat, pointed muzzle and bushy tail carried over their backs make them instantly recognisable.

Kerry Blue Terrier

Kerry Blues are unmistakable due to their distinctive colouring – blue-grey. Their coats are, unlike many terrier breeds, soft, thick and wavy without an under layer. They are upstanding,well-put-together terriers with short, straight backs and a good depth of chest. They are compact, spirited dogs who move freely and powerfully.
