here are some useful training tips that will go a long way in making you a successful trainer and your dog a well-trained canine citizen.
Many people think that reward training is the modern method of dog training. It's my belief that reward training predates leash training. It is reasonable to believe that reward training was fairly well developed by early humans. This would be especially true for the priests of people who kept animals as a form of worship.

Take a look around at the dogs in your neighbourhood and the chances are you'll see at least one dog that's grossly overweight and several that could do with being put on a diet. Sadly, this nation of animal lovers has developed into what's fast becoming a dog's worse enemy.

Romanian farmer was shocked to find two 'dead' piglets had been nursed back to health by his pet dog.
The man said he threw away the 'bodies' of the two piglets because he thought they were still born.
My vet wants me to give my dog medicine every day. How am I supposed to get him to take it?
Some dogs are easy to convince when it comes to medication. If you have a natural born chowhound, a piece of lunchmeat or cheese wrapped around a pill can go down without a second thought. Liquid medicine can be mixed right into his food – if he picks up on that trick, try mixing it with peanut butter and spreading it on bread. Nobody can resist a peanut butter sandwich!

Dogs love to play. Puppies love to play even more than their full-grown relatives, and you’ll soon
notice that a puppy can turn a tiny shred of paper on the ground into a full-blown adventure. Even so, your pup should have some carefully selected toys in his crate and available to him at any time.

You may not have any other options. It really depends on the situation. In certain cases, injuries and damage from disease are too severe to make keeping your dog alive a humane option.

My story is sad. I loved Zak. I spoil my dogs like children. He was 80 pounds white with brindle markings. His behavior was more on the pyranees side where me and my 2 young daughters were his flock to protect in his fenced in yard with beware of dog sign. His best bud was a female minature dashund that we still have. He became more protective towards us when the neighborhood kids in the hood of the city of poughkeepsie would torment him while I was inside. I did not catch it right away; when I became aware of it, I would only let him out when I was with him. I had chain-linked fence which I had to add the 8 foot wooden fence because he would try to jump at anyone near the fence.
All dogs need is adequate exercise and a healthy diet. If you can not provide these simple things for your dog than you shouldn't have got one in the first place.
The dietary regimen is an important aspect of survival. The objective of dietary management is to meet the basic nutritional requirements of the individual dog with proper proportions of protein, carbohydrates, and fat in a well-balanced diet that will promote optimal body weight.
